Fundraising at church
Join us in supporting the
UK's most vulnerable and neglected
children and young
people.
We are dedicated to helping children and young people break
through poverty and deprivation and to achieve their potential.
That's why we value every penny you raise through charity
fundraising activities at church - and why we need your ongoing
support.
Get involved!
There are many ways to get started, and we have plenty of church
fundraising ideas. You could:
- Celebrate Christmas and Action
for Children Sunday with a collection to
help vulnerable children - we can give you worship materials and
perhaps find a speaker too
- Set off together after morning service for a Step
Out for Children sponsored walk - we'll supply help and
materials
- Give regularly to Action for Children as a
church - help us to always be there for the children and young
people in the UK who need it the most
- Organise an event such as a book fair,
Ploughman's lunch or Christmas gift sale - we have lots of
ideas
- Get together with friends and form a fundraising
group - or join a local group already
working to raise money for us
- Ask people at church to save their loose change in an Action
for Children home collecting box - these
little boxes raise us a staggering £750,000 each year!

Thank you
Methodist churches raise thousands of pounds for Action for
Children each year. Without you, we wouldn't be able to help nearly
as many children and young people as we do - thank you.
