When?

This May 23rd 2013, we are looking for land lubbers to be 'captured' on the HMS Warrior (1860)

Action for Children pirates will capture new recruits for a morning aboard the HMS Warrior and they won't be released until they raise their ransom fee!  You will be captured at 10am and will have until 1pm to gain your freedom.

Who?

A number of local celebrities, politicians and other community figures will be captured.  This is a fantastic PR and networking opportunity!  Armed only with a mobile phone and a list of business contacts, colleagues and friends, you will be tasked to raised £750 in order to secure your release.

Our Action for Children fundraising team will be promoting the event and will be on hand to set up your online giving page and give you all the fundraising advice you need.

Where?

All captured recruits will be kept on the HMS Warrior (1860), mingling with your fellow captives and raising your ransom until 1pm when lunch will be served - if you have raised your ransom!  This event is sure to be hugely popular, so if you are interested in taking part please call Lauren on 07714 524844 or email lauren.fitzgerald@actionforchildren.org.uk

Why?

Action for Children is committed to helping the UK's most vulnerable and neglected children and young people break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential.
