Take on a challenge of a lifetime and make a real difference to the UK's most vulnerable and neglected children and young people.

Whether your dream is to climb Africa's mighty Kilimanjaro, cycle past french hamlets or trek China's first line of defence, Action for Children has a challenge for you. All you have to do is sign up!

1. Choose your challenge

Our most popular trips are:

• Mount Kilimanjaro
• Great Wall of China
• London to Paris Bike Ride

2. Choose your preferred fundraising target

Choosing where to go is only half the decision, the other choice to make is how to cover the costs. There are two options available:

• Minimum sponsorship - Pay a non-refundable registration fee and your insurance and then raise a set minimum amount of sponsorship. 80% is due by 10 weeks before departure.
• Self-funder - Pay for all the associated costs of the trip, including travel insurance and then there is no minimum sponsorship amount you just raise as much as is possible.

3. Sign up and let us know

Once you've chosen where to go and how you wish to cover of the cost of your trip then its time to sign up with Charity Challenge, but don't forget to let us know!

In return for all your hard work in training and fundraising we promise to be there to support you almost every step of the way (unfortunately we can't do the challenge for you!). You will receive:

• One to one contact with your local fundraiser
• Expert fundraising advice and top tips to help you hit that target
• A range of fantastic fundraising materials
• An Action for Children t-shirt to wear with pride on your trip
