"It was really rewarding to see the difference that a group of people could make in just a day - it just shows you what teamwork can achieve."

Employer Supported Volunteering

Employer Supported Volunteering, or ESV, is a way for employers and companies to give something back to the community whilst gaining great benefits in return.

By getting involved in Employer Supported Volunteering your company could gain:

  • increased staff commitment, motivation and morale
  • staff skills development
  • greater understanding and respect between co-workers
  • creative staff approaches to problem-solving
  • staff realisation of personal capability
  • improved reputation

All in the knowledge that the time spent would be helping vulnerable children and young people.

Opportunities available

We have a range of opportunities across the UK.  Your staff could take a Team Challenge, joining together to undertake a practical task such as creating a sensory garden or transforming a therapy room.  Or you might be looking for a more long-lasting relationship, where your employees can make use of their professional expertise such as by offering specialist advice sessions.

How to get involved

We have two great routes into Employer Supported Volunteering to suit the level of involvement you are looking for:  ESV Local for small local projects, and ESV Plus for larger opportunities.
