Women from across Fermanagh and beyond enjoyed a night of
glamorous Christmas bingo recently on Wednesday 30th
November 2011 to raise money for children's charity Action
for Children.
The event, brought to Enniskillen for the fourth time, was a
resounding success at the Killyhevlin Hotel raising over £10,000
for Action for Children.
The 'Clickety Chicks' fundraising event, organised by Action for
Children, is a game of bingo with a difference: as well as the
bingo, guests enjoyed a Christmas mulled wine reception followed by
a fabulous fashion show courtesy of Graham Womenswear and a superb
Killyhevlin Hotel dining experience. The event was hosted by TV
personality Pamela Ballantine and Zodiac Bingo.
Louise Warde Hunter, Strategic Director of Children's Services
with Action for Children Scotland andNorthern Ireland, said: "A big
thank you from everyone at Action for Children to all those who
supported this year's Clickety Chicks. It was a high energy mix of
fun, fashion and philantrophy - 'Funanthrophy' in action!Their
support is what helps us be there for as long as it takes to help
the vulnerable children, young people and families we support." Fun
and philantrophy
