Call for walkers to take part in Pembrokeshire coastal trek
26 June 2012
Children's charity Action for Children is calling for walkers to
take part in its Pembrokeshire coastal trek.
Action for Children will be taking part in the 25 mile trek,
which takes place from July 13-15 in Pembrokeshire.
The charity is appealing to walkers to raise money for its vital
work supporting the most vulnerable and neglected children, young
people and their families.
Action for Children walkers will receive a full support package
including an Action for Children t-shirt, and a fundraising pack
full of creative ideas.
Lucy Johnson, Action for Children Fundraiser, said: "From Solva
to Trefin - trekking north to south, this fantastic weekend trek
not only takes in some of the best coastal scenery in the UK, but
is also raises valuable funds for most vulnerable and neglected
children across Wales."
"Whether you're an experienced walker or ramble for fun, we
would be delighted to have you trek for Action for Children and
support you in this fantastic challenge."
Action for Children works with vulnerable and disadvantaged
children, young people and their families affected by issues
including poverty, neglect, abuse, disability, family problems and
homelessness.
