Protecting
children is what our assessment services are all about. By
providing an accurate assessment of a family's current situation,
we can make reccomendations for the welfare of the child and
family.
An accurate assessment is crucial. That way, families can get the
right support for their needs at the right time. We do this through
gathering a wealth of information from individual sessions, group
work and activities with parents and children, and work in the
family home. Children's needs, parenting capacity and environmental
factors are all considered when making our assessments.
We also support parents to develop their parenting skills to their
full potential. If there is positive progress, the child can remain
safely in the family home.
