Lily Pads and The Courtyard Children's Centre

Whether you're a new parent, a childminder or someone who's been looking after children for years, we'll help you develop your skills and give your child the best start possible.

You'll find a number of sessions for your child from stay-and-play to sing-a-longs, story times and rhyme time, all to help develop their learning.

And there's plenty of support for you, too. Our team work closely with new parents to support them, including running courses on baby massage and baby yoga.

It's a great way to interact with your child and learn something new at the same time.

You can also get your children fit and active with our Gym fit sessions and get the latest advice on your child's health with our regular clinics.

It's not just for mums either - our monthly session just for dads gives men a chance to bond with their children and get involved too.

Drop in Lily Pads or The Courtyard today and you'll find a number of activities on offer, including:

  • Coffee mornings
  • Stay-and-play
  • Child health clinics
  • Music workshops
  • MAD (music and dance) sessions
  • Craft sessions

To register your interest in on courses please see links below.

Feedback

If you have attended any of our sessions, it would be a huge help if you could spend 5 minutes completing the appropriate online survey for that session.

Please click on one of the links below:

We at the children’s centres  are aware that  the views of parents and carers are very important to us. To this end we would like to invite you to spend 10 – 15 minutes completing our online questionnaire about challenges you may have in the area in which you live.

Healthy weights

As part of overall health and wellbeing, it is important that children maintain a healthy weight.  Currently, one in five Hampshire children in Year R are  categorised as either overweight or obese.  Learn more about the Hampshire Healthy Weights Strategy and the work which underpins it  by visiting the website below.
