Working together
It's about bringing together health,
education and social care. That's what makes sense for children,
young people and families.
By co-locating services and streamlining processes, pooling our
resources, knowledge and expertise. So we avoid duplication of
effort, save invaluable time and deliver better outcomes.
Because children and young people need help now - not next year,
not two years from now, not five years from now. But now. We'll
work together - putting the child at the centre - to maximise
resources and offer cost-effective solutions.
A whole family approach
Partnership working is also about engaging whole families,
making sure everyone's opinions are heard and listened to. With a
'whole family' approach, we can ensure we're meeting everyone's
needs - and that's what makes the lasting difference.
Whether it's outreach in their homes, a project worker who
speaks their language, or access to support on evenings and
weekends. We use all the resources available to do whatever's
possible, to design and deliver the service in whatever way works
best.
More through corporate support
Our corporate partners add value too. Like our Barclay's
Financial Futures programme, providing advice and skills in money
management - 57% of parents and young people stated that they had
reduced their overall debt after going on the programme.
Relationships make the difference
We're only as effective as the relationships we build. Improving
outcomes and achieving more equal life chances happens when we work
in partnership, for a better future, for all children and young
people, for as long as it takes.
Our expertise at providing services across a wide range of need.
Our high quality staffing, bespoke approach, and the added value of
voluntary income. All this means we can offer the breadth and depth
of support, no matter the need.
What our voluntary income can do
Whether it's our Articulation programme to give young people a
voice through performing arts. Or our ArtMatters initiative to get
children exploring their creativity. We reinvest our surplus back
into the organisation to give more opportunities to those we work
with. So we're able to provide more beyond what funding may
allow.
It's things like adding a sensory garden in one of our special
schools. Or accessible play equipment for our children's centres.
It's running additional support groups. And providing young people
with a positive activity residential weekend.
Beyond service delivery
We go the extra mile. Your local needs inform our national
policy calls. Children and young people's voices are heard through
our campaigning work. And our external evaluations ensure our
services are making a difference.
