Accommodation and housing support
Our targeted youth support services aim to improve
outcomes for young people who are facing a range of
issues.
Ensuring that they are in satisfactory accommodation is a key
priority. Across the UK, we provide a range of housing support for
young people, including:
- supported housing/lodgings
- emergency accommodation
- homelessness accommodation
- dispersed tenancy support
- floating tenancy support
- outreach tenancy support
- independent living skills in money management, DIY, cooking and
accessing benefits
Homeless young people, including those leaving local authority care
services, face a number of barriers to employment. We need to
help give them better opportunities in life. And by ensuring young
people have the life skills and knowledge to manage and keep their
homes, we can help them build brighter futures.
Impact

Programme, five identified accommodation as an issue and all were
helped to keep existing accommodation or to find new
accommodation
- 100% of young people using our Gen R 8 services were helped to
keep their accommodation
- 82% of young people engaged with our Calderdale Pathway service
now have suitable accommodation
