Hari is Action for Children’s Chief Finance Officer. He guides the Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees on all financial matters.

This includes financial planning and business modelling, budgeting, liaising with auditors, producing published accounts, managing cash flow, investments and debt, tax and pension. 

He is also responsible for Legal and Technology functions and driving the digital transformation. 

After qualifying as an accountant, Hari worked in the corporate finance and investment banking sectors. This involved leading mergers and acquisitions, integrations, improving dysfunctional companies, and capital restructures.

Later he became the Finance Director of Daimler Benz Group company, and then moved to the higher education sector as Deputy Chief Executive responsible for finance, HR, IT, estates, procurement and commercial in a large university. Here, he helped transform the organisation’s financial stability and double the turnover.

Hari attended Harvard Business School and competed a leadership development programme.

He also holds an MBA, and is qualified as a Chartered Banker and a Chartered Director. He has held number of non-executive director posts in the housing, sports and insurance sectors.

Hari is a keen rugby fan, supporting Northampton Saints as a season ticket holder. He also enjoys watching cricket, and takes pride in completing the Rubik’s Cube in less than eight minutes.
