Richard Cryer

Richard has served in a number of voluntary roles since retiring as Director of Finance and Estates at the University of London in 2012. This includes:

  • Trustee and Treasurer of Amnesty International UK.
  • Governor of Worcester College of Technology.
  • Member of the finance committee of Mencap.

Richard is currently a Non-Executive Director of Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. He is Trustee and Treasurer of Aspire Living (a charity providing services to people in Herefordshire with learning disabilities). He’s also a member of the audit committee of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Richard was a director of finance in higher education for 13 years before retiring. Before that he worked in the financial services sector in the City of London for more than 20 years.
