Visit our Legacy Events

Whether you are considering to, or have decided to leave a gift to us in your will we would love for you to come along to our legacy events.

These events are unique opportunities to learn more about the work we do and how this special way of giving can help children in the future. It is also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions you have about will-writing and gifts in wills.

In the past, we have held events all around the country in numerous beautiful locations. We have had inspiring and informative talks from our Experts by Experience and staff who work in our services.

These events are free to attend, lunch/refreshments are provided, and you will get the chance to chat to the speakers, staff, volunteers and other supporters who share our passion for improving the lives of children across the UK.

For more information, please email [email protected] or call us on 0300 123 2112.

Join the Action for Children team on Wednesday 5 June for a day of celebration at Croxteth Hall & Country Park, Liverpool. The event gives us the perfect opportunity to thank you personally for your incredible support – and celebrate everything it achieves, marking 150 years of life-changing work.

On the day, you’ll hear from our inspirational service staff who work with vulnerable children, young people and families in your area. Their stories will give you a very real sense of the difference your support makes to children across the UK.

You’ll also be able to speak to our Legacy team about the benefits of our free will writing services.  After a light lunch, you’ll be able to take a free guided tour around the fascinating Croxteth Hall.

It was great to see so many of you at our Christmas event, at Central Hall Westminster. The day was a great success and was a chance to celebrate all the amazing work your support achieves.

Some kind words from our supporters about the day:

“It was inspiring hearing about the wonderful work you do and putting faces to names.”

“To hear actual stories makes the charity cause very real. The talk by Hackney Young Careers was most inspiring and humbling.”
