"There is poverty in the UK. There is neglect. There is abuse. All of these things are happening in your street in your town."

Three year old Jack* had never slept in a proper bed. He slept on an old mattress on the floor which he shared with his brother, his sister and his mum.

With your help, one of our Family Partner Workers like Lucy be there for children like Jack and his family.

Will you give £5 a month to families struggling here at home?

"Neglect can be really hard to pin down. Quite often we will see children who are unkempt, grubby or the home conditions are quite poor.

Action for Children are so important because there is so much going on behind closed doors. Until support workers can get out there and work with these families we’re not going to uncover what’s happening."

Lucy - Family Partners Worker, Action for Children.
