Campaign with us

We campaign for changes that make life better for vulnerable children and young people. Adding your voice to our campaigns helps us make change happen faster.

With your help we can really turn up the volume and make our voices heard by the people with the power to change things.

Current Campaigns

Fair by five

The first five years of a child’s life are crucial. But a third of children aren’t ready to learn by age five. We need child development to be a national priority, and soon.

There has never been a more important time to focus on tomorrow's adults. We can't afford to let down the thousands of children who need a better start in life. It's bad for children, for families, for communities, and for our country's future success.

Take action

Fair Deal

We think vulnerable young people need better support managing their money.

These young people need a champion in government. Someone who will unify Ministers, Banks, Employment Advisers, Regulators, Social Workers and others to support and advise them  on managing money.

End Child Poverty

Low income families deserve to be able to afford the day-to-day essentials they need. To give all children the best start in life the Government must apply as much focus to tackling the day-to-day reality of poverty, as tackling the wider causes and investing in early.

We welcomed the decision not to introduce the cuts to in-work tax credits because they are a lifeline to families struggling to make ends meet and down to the actions of people like you, through Money Matters we made sure that the Government is legally obliged to measure and report on child poverty in the UK. These are great wins, and we will continue to support the work of ending child poverty in the UK

Previous achievements. Take a look at what we’ve achieved already:

  • Neglect law change – sustained emotional abuse, which causes psychological harm, is now recognised as a crime
  • Chance To Stay – we helped young people in Wales to stay in care longer if they wanted
  • On Our Own Two Feet – we got the Government to set up a savings scheme for children in care

Together, we can transform the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people. Together, we can make a difference.
