Dalai Lama Trek

Explore North India and the homeplace of the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Community through the foothills of the Himalayas.

The trek starts in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan Community are situated, at the heart of the world's highest mountain range. You'll spend five days trekking through the Kingdom of Gaddi - a semi nomadic race who spent months wondering the high passes with their cattle - with stunning views of the Daula Dhar Mountain Range. You'll also go through rhododendron forests, Hindu settlements and Buddhist Monasteries. The adventure ends with some free time to explore one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal.

The Dalai Lama Trek takes places over 10 days on various dates.
