This was a record breaking year for Young Ambassadors at Byte Night, with almost 40 Ambassadors coming along in total. There were also Young Ambassadors at every one of the 10 Byte Night events across the UK!

Byte Night is one of Action for children's biggest fundraising events. People grab their sleeping bags and hats, and sleep out in the cold for the night. This gives everyone that takes part just a small sense of what it's like to be homeless for one night. And the money they raise goes a long way in helping vulnerable children and young people in the UK.

The Young Ambassadors came along to help out and speak this year and were brilliant (as always!)

Tamara did a great job of interviewing celebrities, Anthea Turner, Larry Lamb and Jenny Agutter in London.

Meanwhile, up in Cardiff Adam spoke out about his experience and how we helped him.

And in Reading and Newcastle, Brad and Marc both spoke about how Action for Children helped them and why they decided to become Young Ambassadors.

"I enjoyed it. It feels like you’re doing something for someone else, doing something to help others."

Nearly 40 Young Ambassadors participated, many for the first time, and feedback from staff and guests was fantastic.

Helen Parson, Byte Night Manager, was really impressed with the Young Ambassadors on the night.

"Byte Night wouldn’t be the same without our Young Ambassadors. They were amazing. They add so much to the events and also have a huge impact on our fundraising."

Keira, one of our Young Ambassadors, attended the Manchester event. It was her first experience going to an event as a Young Ambassador and she had a brilliant time, "It was fun to take part and I’d recommend other young people to give it a go. I would do it again!"
