A Letter to Gwenda

Posted by Rhea Stevens / Thursday 30 January 2014 / Chance to stay Children in care

I want to share this letter with you. It's from a fostered young person to Gwenda Thomas AM, Deputy Minister for Social Services in Wales.

For me, it really shows why our Chance to Stay campaign is so important. The young person explains first-hand how devestated she was at having to leave foster care too early; and how her younger brother is just about to go through it too and is simply not ready.

We've removed the young person's personal details for obvious reasons. She has agreed to share this letter to help people understand just why the campaign means so much.

Please help this young person campaign for the Chance to Stay for her brother by writing to your AM. We've created a quick and easy template letter so you can show your support.
