Up and down the country, hundreds of you dedicated campaigners have taken action and asked your election candidates to back ‘A stitch in time’ – the campaign for early support for children.

We have teamed up with Barnardo's, The Children's Society and NSPCC in making sure early support gets the political support it deserves.

It’s time to rethink how we support families facing difficulty, so their problems don’t escalate causing greater harm and costing public services more money.

Your Support helped!

Every letter sent has played its part. With your support, we have made contact with over 200 candidates from all the main political parties. Thank you very much for your help so far!

If you have had a response from any of your local candidates, please send them on to us. They will help us follow up with successful candidates after the election. Please email: [email protected]

Still time to act

If you haven’t had a chance to take the action, don’t worry - you still have time! With 21 days until the election, every email sent to candidate’s matters. So please, take the action now:

Help us protect children from reaching crisis point.

Look out for a blog post from us after the election. We'll fill you in on what the results of the general elections means for vulnerable children and young people.
