Last week, KarenB, a boutique in Broughty Ferry, hosted a wonderful fashion show all to raise money for Action for Children.

The local business puts on this very glamorous event every year, and we’re so happy that this year they choose to support us!

Ann, who owns the shop, said:

"I’m delighted to support Action for Children with the proceeds from this year’s show. The charity makes a big difference to the lives of hundreds of local children and young people, and we’ll have some gorgeous clothes and accessories on show!"

We, at Action for Children, have lots of services throughout the country helping children and young people when they need support. In Dundee we run a local scheme that helps many families in the local area.

Donald Smith is the Chair of our Dundee Appeal Committee. He said:

“We’re very grateful to Ann for her support of the charity. With 250 ladies attending, this promises to be a great fundraising event and a fantastic opportunity for us to spread the word about the difference Action for Children makes locally.”

The evening was an absolute success. There were over 250 people there on the night and the event raised an incredible £2,700 in total. 3 people also said they would like to help by volunteering at the local service as well, which we think is absolutely brilliant!
