Sarika Patel

Sarika Patel has been Chair of the Board of Trustees at Action for Children since 2019.

She is a business leader with nearly 30 years of public, private organisational experience. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Marketer. She is also a graduate in law.

Her experience includes leadership of multi-sited teams, corporate development, and finance. Her skills include acquiring, integrating and developing businesses, as well as company restructuring and turnaround.

Sarika has a number of non-executive positions in her portfolio. She is currently on the Board of the Aberdeen Standard Equity Investment Trust and the Board of the Office for Nuclear Regulation, where she also chairs the Audit, Risk, and Assurance committee. Sarika is a Non-Executive Director and chairs the Audit committee at SEEIT plc, Foresight Sustainable Forestry Co plc, and previously at Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund Limited.

Her previous non-exec roles include Vice Chair of Centrepoint, Commissioner at the Gambling Commission, Imperial Healthcare Trust, and member of the Court, University of Greenwich.
