Acorns Children's Centre
Get the support and advice you need to be a parent and help your child develop with a range of activities.
We offer plenty of support for your child's development, from stay-and-play to baby massage groups.
From new mums' groups to effective parenting courses, we'll support you at every stage.
And there's a Saturday morning dads' club too, to give men a chance to bond with their children.
We'll also help you develop your own potential with links to training and employment opportunities for parents looking to get back into work.
We work with other agencies to provide the services you need, including assistance for children with special needs.

Acorns Children’s Centre will be closed for the duration of the Christmas holidays. Acorns will close on Friday 19th December 2014 and re-open on Monday 5th January 2015. If you would like to speak with a member of staff during the festive period please call Spring Meadow Children’s Centre on 01264 336718.
During the holidays Spring Meadow Children’s Centre will remain open from 9am – 5pm with the exception of Christmas Eve and New Years Eve when we will close at 4pm.
Spring Meadow will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Friday 2nd January 2015. Should you wish to speak with a member of staff on Friday 2nd January please call 07540 919523.
The Breastfeeding Drop In on Friday 2nd January 2015 will not be available from Spring Meadow Children’s Centre however you can speak with a fully trained and qualified breastfeeding councillor on 01256 892938 between 1 – 2.30pm.
The Well Baby Clinic will be open on Tuesday 23rd December from 9am – 1pm but will be closed on Tuesday 30th December.
