We're here to help you grow into your role as a foster carer. Here is what you can expect from us.
24-hour support
All our foster carers have a dedicated supervising social worker. They’ll give you one-to-one help and advice whenever you need it. You can also get in touch with us at any time of the day or night.
Extensive training
Our foster carers follow an annual training calendar. Sessions cover the essentials, like child safety and development, as well as policies and procedures.
We also run specialist training and explain some of the issues young people deal with, like bullying on social media and gang culture. You’ll get ideas, resources and tools to help you.

Regular support groups
These give you the chance to get together and meet people doing the same amazing thing.
Most of our services have a “buddy system” where new foster carers are paired up with more experienced people.
Our fostering ambassadors will also make sure your opinions are listened to.
Fees and allowances
We want you to know that you can afford to care for a child. Being a foster carer is skilled and dedicated work.
You’ll get fees and expenses to support yourself and the children living with you. This means you can focus on caring without worrying about money.
Foster carers can be eligible for tax breaks from the government.
