Michael Long

Reverend Dr Michael Long joined the Board of Trustees at Action for Children in July 2020.

Mike has served in a variety of church appointments in London, Surrey and North Wales for 35 years.

He is a member of the Methodist Church’s Connexional Council (its trustee body).

Mike chaired Shelter’s commission on Social Housing, which published its report in 2019.

His research interests include theological reflection on a range of social and political issues. These include housing, money and the church’s ministry in marginalised communities.
