Cashback - Positive Changes

Glasgow, Edinburgh, and South Lanarkshire

Cashback - Positive Changes focuses on training young people aged 15-24 who may be disengaged from mainstream education

Our approach

This 8-week pre-employability programme runs for two days per week in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and South Lanarkshire.

The programme aims to provide an opportunity to continue learning but to focus on vocational activity alongside personal development sessions. Outcomes from the project are focused on increasing engagement in learning, confidence, motivation, and self-awareness with an aim for young people to return to full time education or to progress on to further education or training.

How it works

Within the programme, participants will take part in both practical and theoretical sessions. Some of these include:

All participants will be allocated a key worker who will contact parents/carers and young people prior to the programme for a pre-engagement period. Young people will be supported for up to 3 months once the programme is complete to achieve a positive destination. This helps to support and encourage young people to attend and successfully engage with the Positive Changes programme.
