Ash Square provides quality short term residential breaks for the most vulnerable disabled children aged 5 to 17.
Ash Square provides a nurturing and caring environment that focuses on each young person as an individual. Young people will have the opportunity to try new experiences, build relationships with their peers, develop positive behaviors, be emotionally and socially supported by a staff team with the training and skills to meet their care and support needs. As a home we work with families and other professionals to ensure that families are confident that their child is safe and there is consistency in the support that young people receive.
Ash Square focuses on a child-centered, outcomes basis that promotes independence at a level equal to their stage of development. Care provision is based on the following principles:
- The needs, best interests and welfare of children and young people are paramount, and the focus of service provision should reflect this.
- The wishes and feelings of children/young people including representations and complaints should be respected, listened to and given full consideration.
- Children and young people should be protected from harm.

Gall pobl ifanc ddechrau dod i aros yn Ash Square pan maent yn bump oed, hyd at eu pen-blwydd yn 18 oed, er mwyn rhoi cyfle iddyn nhw gael gwyliau o safon o’u cartref, ac er mwyn i’w teulu gael seibiant haeddiannol.
Mae gan lawer o’r plant a gefnogwn nifer helaeth o anghenion, a’r rheini’n rhai cymhleth iawn, ac mae chwarae yn yr awyr agored yn fanteisiol i’w hiechyd, eu lles a’u datblygiad. Mae’r ardd synhwyraidd sydd wedi’i chreu’n ddiweddar yn Ash Square yn fan diogel i blant chwarae, ac mae’n helpu i ddatblygu amrywiaeth o sgiliau, fel rhyngweithio cymdeithasol a chydsymud rhwng y llaw a’r llygad.
