Dorset Nightstop provides safe, secure emergency accommodation for young people aged 16-25 in Dorset and 18-25 in Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We have a network of fully trained volunteer hosts across BCP and Dorset who can provide a spare room for a young person experiencing homelessness on a night-by-night basis to provide short term relief until they can move into longer term accommodation.

A young person accessing Nightstop can expect:

  • A safe and secure bed for the night in their own room
  • An evening meal, breakfast and a packed lunch
  • Washing facilities
  • A listening ear or headspace, whichever they prefer
  • A friendly and free service
  • Breathing space while helped to get any support needed and move towards finding more permanent accommodation.
