Richard Eastmond

Richard Eastmond joined the Board of Trustees at Action for Children in April 2026.

He has had a long career as a Chief Operating Officer and people leader, working across the print, media, education and not‑for‑profit sectors.

His career includes senior roles at organisations such as Amnesty International, CBS Outdoor and Clear Channel, and more recently at the Royal Academy of Arts and Crisis, where he served as Director of People and Culture.

Richard has had a strong focus on commercial management and organisational development, and is an experienced Board Director.

He currently chairs the People and Governance Committee at YMCA St Paul’s Group and has previously held Board roles with the University College of Osteopathy and the John Muir Trust.

He brings to the Board deep third‑sector leadership experience alongside a strong commitment to Action for Children’s mission, vision and values.
