To help spread the word, Anna collaborated with us on social media, which helped us reach a wider audience and inspired more people to sign our letter.
During the campaign, Anna also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme to highlight the reality behind the child poverty statistics.
We have shocking children living in poverty statistics. Children going without dinner or breakfast. They don’t have a warm coat or can’t wash. They’re feeling a lot of shame and it’s a huge struggle.
