How John Lewis supports us with the Made By Care range
What do a tote bag, a notebook, and a serving tray all have in common? They’re just some of the ways that the John Lewis Partnership is supporting Action for Children this autumn.
This year's range was designed by Peter Dyer. Peter was born in Holloway Prison, where he became a ward of the state before being adopted.
The collection marks the fourth year running of John Lewis's Made by Care range - part of the Building Happier Futures programme which supports care-experienced people.
John Lewis PLC will donate £150,000 as well as 25% of the purchase price of all products in the 2026 range to Action for Children.
My work spans architecture, landscape and product design. It is shaped by my experiences growing up and explores themes of belonging and identity. These ideas inform my design work, art practice and many other aspects of my life.

Just in time for the colder weather, the Made by Care range features jumpers, t-shirts and scarves in a range of earth tones. Peter's collection focuses on natural form, and how this is shaped over time just like our own experiences shape our lives.
The range also features two scarves - one silk, one wool - which would make perfect gifts for the festive season.
Alongside clothing, John Lewis’s Made by Care range also features accessories that are sure to add that touch of sophistication. These include two tote bags and a notebook.
Like the jumpers and t-shirts, proceeds from sales will go towards our work in supporting care-experienced young people and helping them develop vital employability skills.

Alongside the usual collection of clothing and accessories, Peter Dyer has also created homeware from materials like stone and wood.
You can choose from two different mugs, a beautiful vase or even some ornately carved coasters with a matching serving tray - perfect for hosting over Christmas.
Over the years, our work with the John Lewis Partnership has been vital in helping ensure safer and happier childhoods across the UK.
Their support has meant we can grow our services supporting children and young people in care and with care experience. This includes young people like Miracle and Christopher. With your help, we could reach even more children, young people, and their families.
Make a difference at Christmas.
