Signing up to give through your salary is easy – all you need to do is fill in an online form.
Every time you're paid, your payroll department will deduct the agreed amount from your salary – you don’t need to do anything else.
Payroll Giving is one of the most tax-effective ways of giving to charity, because your donation is deducted from your gross pay before tax. So, if you agree to give £5, as a basic rate tax payer you’ll only pay £4 – the taxman makes up the remaining £1.
