Services that support disabled young people to access their local community and have fun can make a real difference to them

Fun Holiday Activity Days for disabled children and young people

Action for Children Cornwall SPACE is a Cornwall Council funded service providing Holiday Activities for disabled children and young people aged between 5 – 18 years. We offer disabled children and young people exciting new activities to try, providing families with an all-important short break.

We also offer three youth groups for young people aged 14 up to their 25th birthday. Groups run on Mondays and Tuesdays in Launceston, St Blazey and in Hayle.

Fun and Inclusive

Our short breaks and youth groups offer disabled children and young people the opportunity to have fun and make friends while getting support from trained and professional staff. Our activities offer access to advice and guidance, fun opportunities, supported play and sensory activities and chances to try something new!

Referral criteria

Our referral form is simple to fill in and can either be filled in by parents and carers or by a professional working with the family.
