Seesaw Day Nursery provides a wide range of services to local children, young people and families within the local community.

Seesaw Day Nursery is registered for 40 children, 24 of those aged 3-5 years, and 16 of those are 2–3 years. We are open between the hours of 8am and 6pm so that parents are able to access employment, training or support services.

Parents will also be able to access their child's entitlement to the education grant funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and hours can be arranged to best suit their needs.

The nursery operates a breakfast club, afterschool club and holiday club and works in close partnership with the John Bunyan primary school.

Staff at the nursery are fully childcare qualified and all staff have pediatric first aid, many of the staff team have experience of working with children with additional needs, our Early Years Deputy Manager also holds a level 3 qualification in special educational needs.

The nursery has two safe secure outdoor areas and operates an open access policy to the outdoor area.

The nursery provides care and education flexibly, offering a range of sessions to suit the needs of most families.

  • 1-6pm
  • 8am-6pm
  • 9.30am-3.30pm

Funded sessions:

  • 9am-12noon
  • 1-4pm
  • 9.30am-3.30pm
