Our residential home was created to help children feel safe, warm and truly welcome.
Ty Ash has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, so that every child has a comfortable and private space. It also has two lounge areas, a sensory room, and a large garden where children can play and explore.
We know from Attachment Theory that the way children connect with adults has the biggest impact on how they feel and behave.
At Ty Ash, building strong and caring relationships is at the heart of everything we do.
Our focus and ethos are rooted in providing a high-quality therapeutic care that meets the needs of every child.
We're committed to creating a nurturing environment built on trust, understanding, and meaningful relationships. We know that every child's journey is different, and support them with patience and consistency.
All admissions are planned together with the Local Authority, who complete our matching documents. This allows us to gather the information we need to understand the child's needs.
We will then arrange a meeting with our psychologists, Changing Minds, to decide whether all children in the home are a good match for each other.
If we agree that the placement is suitable, we'll request a full care and placement plan, alongside other important documents.
A planned transition for the child will then take place. This includes a chance for the child to visit and spent time in the home.
