Welcome to Ballymena & Little Steps Sure Start!

Our Children's centres play an essential role in giving children and families the early support they need.

About Us

Ballymena & Little Steps Sure Start is funded by the Department of Education through the Northern Childcare Partnership and provides a range of services to children from pre-birth up to four years and their families. Services consist of both individual and group support covering eleven electoral wards across Ballymena & Antrim. Services are provided from 3 Centre bases across the localities, within the home setting or through outreach activities to local pre-school, Church and Community settings.

The project comprises a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary team and works in close partnership with a range of local Statutory, Voluntary and Community service providers to provide a needs led approach to the delivery of services in the area.

Ballymena & Little Steps Sure Start is a Partnership project with Action for Children as the Lead body and the NHSCT as Accountable body.

Opening times

The project has three centre bases supporting the delivery of services in the designated ward areas in Ballymena & Antrim. The Centre opening hours are from 9am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
