30% of children in the UK were living in poverty even before coronavirus hit. Children going days without a proper meal, without warm clothes. Children feeling scared and finding it almost impossible to cope.
With unemployment rising and furlough coming to an end, even more families face financial hardship. The pandemic is having a devastating impact – and vulnerable children are paying the price.
But it doesn’t have to be like this.
Join our 30 Days Your Way challenge and you’ll raise money to help us transform vulnerable children’s lives.
- £10 could pay for a child’s breakfast and lunch for a week.
- £50 could buy new shoes for two children.
- £100 could buy a comfy bed for a child.
- £150 could buy emergency food packages for 6 families in crisis.
- Be healthy
Regular exercise increases cardiovascular fitness and reduces your chances of serious health problems.
2. Sleep better
Getting active can improve your quality of sleep, helping you to feel energised when you wake up.
3. Feel positive
Exercise is a natural stress-buster, producing endorphins that improve mental wellbeing and trigger a positive mood.
