The Arla Great North Swim is not only the biggest open-water swimming event in the UK, but is also Europe’s largest mass participation swim with more than 10,000 swimmers taking part.
At this weekend-long celebration, you can expect stunning scenery, the best of local food and drink, outdoor activities, culture, art, history and thousands of like-minded people coming together. We ask everyone taking part in this challenge to aim for a fundraising target of up to £350, depending on your chosen swim length. In return you’ll receive:
