You’ll reach the Snowdon summit by dawn. And if you’re lucky, you might just see the sunrise over Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

Join this once in a lifetime, two-day experience and climb 1085m by torchlight to raise vital funds for charity. With a roundtrip of about nine miles, you’ll be trekking for about 7-10 hours with a backpack full of determination (and snacks).

Do I need to book somewhere to stay?
Yes, you need to book your own accommodation for the challenge. There are plenty of accommodation options in and around the town of Llanberis.
We have a list of recommendations for places to stay, but please also check the Visit Snowdonia website for a range of different options.
How much do I need to raise?
The sponsorship target is £345.
80% of this needs to be raised 6 weeks before the challenge.
Do you provide transport?
Transport is not included, you need to make your own way to and from the challenge. The registration point will be situated in the town of Llanberis. The nearest train station is in Bangor and local buses can connect you to Llanberis. For more local travel information please visit the Traveline Wales website.

Do I need to have trained to do the challenge?
Yes! This challenge is graded as tough. This is the perfect challenge for participants who are of an adventurous spirit and an open mind, who have taken part in similar events previously, and are prepared to put in the necessary training to push themselves on a more challenging trek.
Even if you are active and exercise regularly, it’s good to adapt your training towards your chosen challenge. This is vital in building strength, cardiovascular stamina, and muscle endurance for the challenge ahead.
You will be provided with a training plan from our partners upon signing up for the challenge.
How long will the trek take?
We meet in Llanberis in the evening for dinner, event registration, and briefing at approximately 11.45pm. After the safety briefing, we will begin walking.
We estimate that it should take you approximately 7-10 hours to complete this challenge.
At the finish, a well-deserved celebration breakfast will be available, after which you are free to depart. We anticipate everyone to have completed this challenge by 7-8am.
As this is a night-time challenge, we would highly advise that you build in some time to rest and sleep before driving home.

What will the weather be like?
As you know, the weather in the UK can be highly unpredictable and at times erratic, so being prepared is the key!
Please check the weather forecasts to ensure that you bring suitable clothing and equipment for your challenge. We recommend you come prepared for any weather, which means bringing waterproofs and warm layers even if rain isn’t forecast.
What food/meals are included in the challenge?
A fuelled dinner when you arrive and register is included, along with a well-earned celebration breakfast on Sunday morning, when you cross that finish line. Check-point snacks are also available, however we would encourage you to bring your own favourite snacks with you to ensure your energy levels stay topped up throughout the challenge.
We advise you to bring enough bottles to ensure you always have 2 litres of water on you, and to arrive at the start with your water bottles already filled.
