A warm, nurturing residential service supporting young people to feel safe, valued and able to thrive.
Pentir House is a home for up to three young people aged 7–19 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties or complex needs
We provide a safe, consistent, nurturing home environment where children can build trusting relationships, develop life skills, and access education through Headlands School.
Our approach is grounded in:
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) to reduce crises safely and help young people link behaviours with emotions.
- Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP) using PACE to create trust and support trauma recovery.
- Circle of Courage model promoting belonging, mastery, independence and generosity.
Young people are supported through personalised plans, regular reviews, emotional support, health appointments, community activities, advocacy provision, and opportunities to build independence.
All placements are commissioned and funded by Local Authorities.
