In the last decade, life for many vulnerable children has reached breaking point. The number of children in the UK living in poverty has risen to 4.5 million, the equivalent of nine children in every classroom. More and more families with children are falling into crisis, no longer able to afford the basics.
Cuts to support services – to children’s centres, crisis prevention and family benefits – are harming those most in need. We see the impact every day across our services.
