On Friday 7 October 2022, Boycott your Bed Wales will be hosted on the outskirts of Belfast at The Pavilion, Stormont.
Get together with your colleagues. Create a dream team. And take on the challenge of sleeping out.
Fundraise in the lead up to the national event on 7 October and on the night you'll be involved in a unique experience of bonding with your team. Spend an unforgettable night sleeping out under the stars and help make children’s dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true.

What to expect on the night
Corporate teams will gather at the Pavilion to enjoy a hearty meal, networking with peers, refreshments and entertainment before heading out to the all-weather pitch for a night under the stars.

The event will be held at The Pavilion, Stormont Estate, Belfast, BT4 3TA, on the outskirts of Belfast with the sleep out following on the all weather pitch.
The exact timings of the event are still to be determined.
Typically the evening starts at around 6pm for food, drinks and networking. Sleepers head outside around 11pm, and are given breakfast at around 6am the following morning before heading home.
As this is a corporate networking event, it's encouraged you bring along a team of colleagues. However, we welcome anyone to take part in Boycott your Bed Live 2022.
We advise that you bring warm clothes and something you'd like to sleep in/on (i.e. a sleeping bag or sleeping mat). We'll provide tarpaulins and foil blankets for the safety of all participants.
We have another event called Boycott your Bed: Stay Up, which can be done at home. This event will not have a live element. You can find out more at on the Boycott your Bed: Stay Up event page.
The team will work hard to ensure that all participants are safe throughout their Boycott your Bed experience, with dedicated security, safety equipment and processes in place to take care of every eventuality.
They'll also continue to closely monitor the situation with Covid-19 and commit to following any government guidance in place at the time of the event.

Dependent on the nature of the disability, some people might find participating in the event uncomfortable. However, the Events Team will do everything they can to make the event fully inclusive and accessible.
If the team are made aware of specific accessibility issues in advance, they can work with you to ensure that necessary measures are in place, and help decide whether the event is a good fit for you/the person.
